           PrinceVasílipronouncedtheselastwordsinatearfulvoice.

           Bilíbinattentivelyexaminedhisnails,andmanyofthosepresentappearedintimidated,asifaskinginwhattheyweretoblame.AnnaPávlovnawhisperedthenextwordsinadvance,likeanoldwomanmutteringtheprayeratCommunion:“LettheboldandinsolentGoliath...”shewhispered.
