           Thedyingmanlaywithclosedeyes,butthemusclestwitchedfromtimetotimeonhisforehead,aswithonethinkingdeeplyandintensely.Levininvoluntarilythoughtwithhimofwhatitwasthatwashappeningtohimnow,butinspiteofallhismentaleffortstogoalongwithhimhesawbytheexpressionofthatcalm,sternfacethatforthedyingmanallwasgrowingclearerandclearerthatwasstillasdarkaseverforLevin.
