           WhenVronskywenttoMoscowfromPetersburg,hehadlefthislargesetofroomsinMorskaiatohisfriendandfavoritecomradePetritsky.

           “Bravo!Vronsky!”shoutedPetritsky,jumpingup,scrapinghischair.“Ourhosthimself!Baroness,somecoffeeforhimoutofthenewcoffeepot.Why,wedidn’texpectyou!Hopeyou’resatisfiedwiththeornamentofyourstudy,”hesaid,indicatingthebaroness.“Youknoweachother,ofcourse?”

           “Ishouldthinkso,”saidVronsky,withabrightsmile,pressingthebaroness’slittlehand.
