           Itwasindeednofailureinhiseyes,ashesaidhimself,turning,glassinhand,toNevyedovsky;theycouldnothavefoundabetterrepresentativeofthenewmovement,whichthenobilityoughttofollow.Andsoeveryhonestperson,ashesaid,wasonthesideoftoday’ssuccessandwasrejoicingoverit.
