           “Howlongitissincewe’veseeneachother!”andwithdesperatedeterminationshepressedhishandwithhercoldhand.

           StepanArkadyevitchtookhimbythearmandledhimawaytoKarenin.

           “Letmeintroduceyou.”Hementionedtheirnames.

           “Youareacquainted?”StepanArkadyevitchaskedinsurprise.
