           Noticingthis,andthatPrincessVarvaraatoncemadehastetochangetheconversationbytalkingofPetersburgacquaintances,andrememberingwhatVronskyhadwithoutapparentconnectionsaidinthegardenofhisworkinthecountry,DollysurmisedthatthisquestionofpublicactivitywasconnectedwithsomedeepprivatedisagreementbetweenAnnaandVronsky.
