           Hesaidthelatterwordsthroughhisshutteeth. Foraspaceofperhapsacoupleofminutestherewassilence,andIcouldfancythatIcouldhearthesoundofourheartsbeating. 

           ThenVanHelsingsaid,placinghishandtenderlyonMrs.Harker’shead, "Andnow,MadamMina,poordear,dear,MadamMina,tellusexactlywhathappened.
