           ThiswasalloverheardbyMissDashwood;andinthewholeofthesentence,inhismannerofpronouncingit,andinhisaddressinghersisterbyherChristiannamealone,sheinstantlysawanintimacysodecided,ameaningsodirect,asmarkedaperfectagreementbetweenthem.Fromthatmomentshedoubtednotoftheirbeingengagedtoeachother;andthebeliefofitcreatednoothersurprisethanthatshe,oranyoftheirfriends,shouldbeleftbytemperssofrank,todiscoveritbyaccident.
