           "Ismamacoming?—"

           "ButshemustnotgoroundbyLondon,"criedMarianne,inthesamehurriedmanner."Ishallneverseeher,ifshegoesbyLondon."

           Itwasnotimeforhesitation.Herfearsandherdifficultieswereimmediatelybeforehim.
