Thesecretaryhavingsneezedinaveryimpressivemanner,andthecoughwhichalwaysseizesanassembly,whenanythingparticularisgoingtobedone,havingbeendulyperformed,thefollowingdocumentwasread:

‘H.Walker,tailor,wife,andtwochildren.Wheninbettercircumstances,ownstohavingbeenintheconstanthabitofdrinkingaleandbeer;saysheisnotcertainwhetherhedidnottwiceaweek,fortwentyyears,taste"dog’snose,"whichyourcommitteefinduponinquiry,tobecompoundedofwarmporter,moistsugar,gin,andnutmeg(agroan,and‘Soitis!’fromanelderlyfemale).
