Ashecomfortedhimselfwiththesereflections,thechaisestoppedatthedooroftheOldRoyal.BenAllenhavingbeenpartiallyawakenedfromastupendoussleep,anddraggedoutbythecollarbyMr.SamuelWeller,Mr.Pickwickwasenabledtoalight.Theywereshowntoacomfortableapartment,andMr.PickwickatoncepropoundedaquestiontothewaiterconcerningthewhereaboutofMr.Winkle’sresidence.
