Mr.AlfredJingle,withoutonesparkofhisoldanimation—withnothingevenofthedismalgaietywhichhehadassumedwhenMr.Pickwickfirststumbledonhiminhismisery—bowedlowwithoutspeaking,and,motioningtoJobnottofollowhimjustyet,creptslowlyaway.
