           MrFlintwinch,whohadlatterlybeenshakingthesedimentatthebottomofhistea-cup,roundandround,heregulpeditdown,andputtingthecupinthetea-tray,asdonewith,turnedhiseyesuponMrBlandoisasiftoaskhimwhathethoughtofthat?

           ‘Allexpressed,madam,’saidMrBlandois,withhissmoothestbowandhiswhitehandonhisbreast,‘bytheword“naturally,”whichIamproudtohavehadsufficientapprehensionandappreciation(butwithoutappreciationIcouldnotbeBlandois)toemploy.
