           MrSparklersubmittedthathehadthought‘itmightbegotover.’

           ‘Gotover!’repeatedFanny,withimmeasurablescorn.

           ‘Foratime,’MrSparklersubmitted.

           Honouringthelastfeeblesuggestionwithnonotice,MrsSparklerdeclaredwithbitternessthatitreallywastoobad,andthatpositivelyitwasenoughtomakeonewishonewasdead!

           ‘However,’shesaid,whenshehadinsomemeasurerecoveredfromhersenseofpersonalill-usage;‘provokingasitis,andcruelasitseems,Isupposeitmustbesubmittedto.’

           ‘Especiallyasitwastobeexpected,’saidMrSparkler.

           MrSparklerwasmuchafflictedbythecharge,andofferedamosttenderandearnestapology.Hisapologywasaccepted;butMrsSparklerrequestedhimtogoroundtotheothersideofthesofaandsitinthewindow-curtain,totonehimselfdown.
