           Theperiodofthefamily’sstayatVenicecame,initscourse,toanend,andtheymoved,withtheirretinue,toRome.ThrougharepetitionoftheformerItalianscenes,growingmoredirtyandmorehaggardastheywenton,andbringingthematlengthtowheretheveryairwasdiseased,theypassedtotheirdestination.
