ThemajorcharacteristicsdiscoverablebythestrangerinMrF.‘sAunt,wereextremeseverityandgrimtaciturnity;sometimesinterruptedbyapropensitytoofferremarksinadeepwarningvoice,which,beingtotallyuncalledforbyanythingsaidbyanybody,andtraceabletonoassociationofideas,confoundedandterrifiedtheMind.MrF.
