           ItistruethatEdmundwasveryfarfromhappyhimself.Hewassufferingfromdisappointmentandregret,grievingoverwhatwas,andwishingforwhatcouldneverbe.Sheknewitwasso,andwassorry;butitwaswithasorrowsofoundedonsatisfaction,sotendingtoease,andsomuchinharmonywitheverydearestsensation,thattherearefewwhomightnothavebeengladtoexchangetheirgreatestgaietyforit.
