           SisterCarriegazedoutofthewindow.Hercompanion,affectedbyherwonder,socontagiousareallthings,feltanewsomeinterestinthecityandpointedoutitsmarvels.

           Shedidnothearthisverywell.Herheartwastroubledbyakindofterror.Thefactthatshewasalone,awayfromhome,rushingintoagreatseaoflifeandendeavour,begantotell.Shecouldnothelpbutfeelalittlechokedforbreath—alittlesickasherheartbeatsofast.Shehalfclosedhereyesandtriedtothinkitwasnothing,thatColumbiaCitywasonlyalittlewayoff.
