           It’sallveryfinetotalk,’saidMrsQuilpwithmuchsimplicity,‘butIknowthatifIwastodieto-morrow,Quilpcouldmarryanybodyhepleasednowthathecould,Iknow!’

           Therewasquiteascreamofindignationatthisidea.
