           Hesmiledandwentlightlyaway.Carriewasthoroughlyimpressed.Shehadnevercomeincontactwithsuchgrace.AsforDrouet,hewasequallypleased.

           “There’saniceman,”heremarkedtoCarrie,astheyreturnedtotheircoseychamber.“Agoodfriendofmine,too.”
