           EverytimethatAglayashowedtemper(andthiswasveryoften),therewassomuchchildishpouting,such“school-girlishness,”asitwere,inherapparentwrath,thatitwasimpossibletoavoidsmilingather,toherownunutterableindignation.Ontheseoccasionsshewouldsay,“Howcanthey,howdaretheylaughatme?”

           Thistimeeveryonelaughedather,hersisters,PrinceS.,PrinceMuishkin(thoughhehimselfhadflushedforsomereason),andColia.Aglayawasdreadfullyindignant,andlookedtwiceasprettyinherwrath.

           “He’salwaystwistingroundwhatonesays,”shecried.
