Therestofthedayhedidbetter,and,althoughhehadnotsomuchtotakehomeasthedaybefore,yetonthewholetheresultwassatisfactory.Andwhatastoryhehadtotellhisfatherandmotherabouthisadventures,andhowhehaddone,andwhatwastheresult!Theyaskedhimsuchamultitudeofquestions!someofwhichhecouldanswer,andsomeofwhichhecouldnotanswer;andhisfatherseemedeversomuchbetterfromfindingthathisboywasalreadynotonlyusefultohisfamilybutusefultootherpeople,andquitetakinghisplaceasamanwhojudgedwhatwaswise,anddidworkworthdoing.
