AfterthatIlookedupimpatientlyatthesails,whichInowregrettedhavingloweredsohastily,andforamomentthoughtofhoistingthemaintopsailagain;butrecollectingthatitwouldtakemefullhalf-a-daytoaccomplish,andthat,atthepresentrateofsailing,twohourswouldbringmetotheisland,Iimmediatelydismissedtheidea.
