           InspiteofthefactthatonlythemorningbeforeshehadinformedClyde,withquiteaflourish,thatshecouldnotpossiblyseehimuntilthefollowingMondaythatallherinterveningnightsweretakennevertheless,theproblemofthecoatloomingupbeforeher,shenowmosteagerlyplannedtocontriveanimmediateengagementwithhimwithoutappearingtooeager.Forbythenshehaddefinitelydecidedtoendeavortopersuadehim,ifpossible,tobuythecoatforher.Onlyofcourse,shewouldhavetoalterherconducttowardhimradically.Shewouldhavetobemuchsweetermoreenticing.Althoughshedidnotactuallysaytoherselfthatnowshemightevenbewillingtoyieldherselftohim,stillbasicallythatwaswhatwasinhermind.
