           Asfortheothers,throughoutthisexcitement,onecouldhearthemwalkingandmumblingorcallingtotheguardstodosomething.AndasforClyde,neverhavingexperiencedorimaginedsuchascene,hewasliterallyshiveringwithfearandhorror.Allthroughthelastnightofthisman’slifehelayonhispallet,chasingphantoms.Sothiswaswhatdeathwaslikehere;mencried,prayed,theylosttheirmindsyetthedeadlyprocesswasinnowayhalted,foralltheirterror.Instead,atteno’clockandinordertoquietallthosewhowereleft,acoldlunchwasbroughtinandofferedbutwithnoneeatingsavetheChinamanovertheway.
