Thesecondnightwepassedinamannersomewhatsimilartothefirst—atabouttwo-thirdsofthewayroundtheisland,aswecalculated—andwehopedtosleeponthenightfollowingatourbower.Iwillnotherenotesoparticularlyallthatwesaidandsawduringthecourseofthissecondday,aswedidnotmakeanyfurtherdiscoveriesofgreatimportance.Theshorealongwhichwetravelled,andthevariouspartsofthewoodsthroughwhichwepassed,weresimilartothosewhichhavebeenalreadytreatedof.
