Now,whilewestoodanxiouslywaitingforthereappearanceofthesewaterspouts,weheardalow,rumblingsoundnearus,whichquicklyincreasedtoagurglingandhissingnoise,andamomentafterwardsathickspoutofwaterburstupwardsfromaholeintherockandspoutedintotheairwithmuchviolence,andsoclosetowhereJackandIwerestandingthatitnearlytouchedus.Wesprangaside,butnotbeforeacloudofspraydescendedanddrenchedusbothtotheskin.
