Iwasthussteepedinthemarvellousecstasywhichallhighsummitsdevelopinthemind;andnowwithoutgiddiness,forIwasbeginningtobeaccustomedtothesesublimeaspectsofnature.Mydazzledeyeswerebathedinthebrightfloodofthesolarrays.IwasforgettingwhereandwhoIwas,tolivethelifeofelvesandsylphs,thefancifulcreationofScandinaviansuperstitions.
