"Bytheway,Mr.Eden,"shecalledback,asshewasleavingtheroom. "Whatisbooze? Youuseditseveraltimes,youknow."
"Oh,booze,"helaughed. "It’sslang. Itmeanswhiskeyan’beer—anythingthatwillmakeyoudrunk."
"Andanotherthing,"shelaughedback. "Don’tuse‘you’whenyouareimpersonal. ‘You’isverypersonal,andyouruseofitjustnowwasnotpreciselywhatyoumeant."
