Whilethevesselwasslowlyadvancingtoheranchorage,underalightbreeze,JackexplainedtousthatAvateawasstillontheisland,livingamongsttheheathens;thatshehadexpressedastrongdesiretojointheChristians;butTararowouldnotlether,andkeptherconstantlyincloseconfinement.
