           Therewasnowridingoffinalldirectionstothedoctor’s,tothefarrier’s,andnodoubttoSquireGordon’s,tolethimknowabouthisson.WhenMr.Bond,thefarrier,cametolookattheblackhorsethatlaygroaningonthegrass,hefelthimallover,andshookhishead;oneofhislegswasbroken.Thensomeonerantoourmaster’shouseandcamebackwithagun;presentlytherewasaloudbangandadreadfulshriek,andthenallwasstill;theblackhorsemovednomore.
