           ThesuggestionofmarriagestruckHurstwoodforcibly.Hesawclearlythatthiswasheridea—hefeltthatitwasnottobegottenovereasily.Bigamylightenedthehorizonofhisshadowythoughtsforamoment.Hewonderedforthelifeofhimhowitwouldallcomeout.Hecouldnotseethathewasmakinganyprogresssaveinherregard.
