           Everybodywassorryshedied,becauseshehadlaidoutalotmoreofthesepicturestodo,andabodycouldseebywhatshehaddonewhattheyhadlost.ButIreckonedthatwithherdispositionshewashavingabettertimeinthegraveyard.Shewasatworkonwhattheysaidwashergreatestpicturewhenshetooksick,andeverydayandeverynightitwasherprayertobeallowedtolivetillshegotitdone,butshenevergotthechance.Itwasapictureofayoungwomaninalongwhitegown,standingontherailofabridgeallreadytojumpoff,withherhairalldownherback,andlookinguptothemoon,withthetearsrunningdownherface,andshehadtwoarmsfoldedacrossherbreast,andtwoarmsstretchedoutinfront,andtwomorereachinguptowardsthemoonandtheideawastoseewhichpairwouldlookbest,andthenscratchoutalltheotherarms;but,asIwassaying,shediedbeforeshegothermindmadeup,andnowtheykeptthispictureovertheheadofthebedinherroom,andeverytimeherbirthdaycometheyhungflowersonit.Othertimesitwashidwithalittlecurtain.Theyoungwomaninthepicturehadakindofanicesweetface,buttherewassomanyarmsitmadeherlooktoospidery,seemedtome.

           Thisyounggirlkeptascrap-bookwhenshewasalive,andusedtopasteobituariesandaccidentsandcasesofpatientsufferinginitoutofthePresbyterianObserver,andwritepoetryafterthemoutofherownhead.Itwasverygoodpoetry.
