           "Well?"saidButler,turningonhimwhenheopenedthedoor,andnotseeingAileen.

           "You’llfindheroutsideinmyrunabout,"observedCowperwood."Youmayusethatifyouchoose.Iwillsendmymanforit."

           "No,thankyou;we’llwalk,"saidButler.

           Cowperwoodcalledhisservanttotakechargeofthevehicle,andButlerstalkedsolemnlyout.
