           Theeffectofahouseofthischaracteronitsownerisunmistakable.Wethinkweareindividual,separate,abovehousesandmaterialobjectsgenerally;butthereisasubtleconnectionwhichmakesthemreflectusquiteasmuchaswereflectthem.
