           Couldthey,withoutrunningthedangerspokenofbyDickSand,piercethathole?Wouldnotthesituationbeaggravatedbyit?

           Whatwascertainwas,thatthewaternowrestedatalevelwhichonlytwocausescouldmakeitexceed,namely:iftheypiercedahole,andtheleveloftherisingwaterswashigheroutside,oriftheheightofthisrisingwatershouldstillincrease.
