           Therewasaconsiderabledifferencebetweentheagesofmyparents,butthiscircumstanceseemedtounitethemonlycloserinbondsofdevotedaffection.Therewasasenseofjusticeinmyfather’suprightmindwhichrendereditnecessarythatheshouldapprovehighlytolovestrongly.
