JustasIhadsetmymastandsail,andtheboatbegantostretchaway,Isawevenbyclearnessofthewatersomealterationofthecurrentwasnear; forwherethecurrentwassostrong,thewaterwasfoul. Butperceivingthewaterclear,Ifoundthecurrentabate,andpresentlyIfoundtotheeast,atabouthalfamile,abreachoftheseauponsomerocks. TheserocksIfoundcausedthecurrenttopartagain;andasthemainstressofitranawaymoresoutherly,leavingtherockstothenorth-east,sotheotherreturnedbytherepulseoftherocks,andmadeastrongeddy,whichranbackagaintothenorth-westwithaverysharpstream.
