Thefirstwavesoflavawhichfellinthelakeimmediatelysolidifiedandaccumulatedsoasspeedilytoemergefromit.Upontheirsurfacefellotherwaves,whichintheirturnbecamestone,butastepnearerthecenterofthelake.
