           ThewindblowingoutofUnionBaysheranbeforeit,andthusshowedherowners,muchtotheirsatisfaction,thatshepossessedaremarkablyfastpairofheels,accordingtoPencroft’smodeofspeaking.AfterhavingdoubledFlotsamPointandClawCape,thecaptainkeptherclosehauled,soastosailalongthesoutherncoastoftheisland,whenitwasfoundshesailedadmirablywithinfivepointsofthewind.
