           “Iguessonceisenoughtosaythem.ThisisMatthew’sdoingsandIwashmyhandsofit.Ifyoucatchpneumoniasleepinginastrangebedorcomingoutofthathothallinthemiddleofthenight,don’tblameme,blameMatthew.AnneShirley,you’redrippinggreasywateralloverthefloor.Ineversawsuchacarelesschild.”
