Hesoughttoelaboratesomenewschemeoflifethatwouldhaveitsreasonedphilosophyanditsorderedprinciples, andfindinthespiritualisingofthesensesitshighestrealisation.
Theworshipofthesenseshasoften,andwithmuchjustice,beendecried,menfeelinganaturalinstinctofterroraboutpassionsandsensations thatseemstrongerthanthemselves,andthattheyareconsciousofsharingwiththelesshighlyorganisedformsofexistence.
