           Hethenshutthedoor,and,cominguptoher,claimedthegoodwishesandaffectionofasister. Elizabethhonestlyandheartilyexpressedherdelightintheprospectoftheirrelationship. Theyshookhandswithgreatcordiality;andthen,tillhersistercamedown,shehadtolistentoallhehadtosayofhisownhappiness,andofJane’sperfections; andinspiteofhisbeingalover,Elizabethreallybelievedallhisexpectationsoffelicitytoberationallyfounded,becausetheyhadforbasistheexcellentunderstanding,andsuper-excellentdispositionofJane,andageneralsimilarityoffeelingandtastebetweenherandhimself.
