           ThetumultofElizabeth’smindwasallayedbythisconversation. Shehadgotridoftwoofthesecretswhichhadweighedonherforafortnight,andwascertainofawillinglistenerinJane,whenevershemightwishtotalkagainofeither. Buttherewasstillsomethinglurkingbehind,ofwhichprudenceforbadethedisclosure. ShedarednotrelatetheotherhalfofMr.Darcy’sletter,norexplaintohersisterhowsincerelyshehadbeenvaluedbyherfriend. Herewasknowledgeinwhichnoonecouldpartake; andshewassensiblethatnothinglessthanaperfectunderstandingbetweenthepartiescouldjustifyherinthrowingoffthislastencumbranceofmystery. "Andthen,"saidshe,"ifthatveryimprobableeventshouldevertakeplace,IshallmerelybeabletotellwhatBingleymaytellinamuchmoreagreeablemannerhimself. Thelibertyofcommunicationcannotbeminetillithaslostallitsvalue!"
