Thewomenwereproposedtobetaxedaccordingtotheirbeautyandskillindressing,whereintheyhadthesameprivilegewiththemen,tobedeterminedbytheirownjudgment.Butconstancy,chastity,goodsense,andgoodnature,werenotrated,becausetheywouldnotbearthechargeofcollecting.
Tokeepsenatorsintheinterestofthecrown,itwasproposedthatthemembersshouldraffleforemployment;everymanfirsttakinganoath,andgivingsecurity,thathewouldvoteforthecourt,whetherhewonornot;afterwhich,thelosershad,intheirturn,thelibertyofrafflinguponthenextvacancy.
