           ‘Nothing,Sissy?’

           ‘No,MissLouisa,’answeredSissy,uponthisencouragement,shakingherhead;‘fatherknowsverylittleindeed.It’sasmuchashecandotowrite;andit’smorethanpeopleingeneralcandotoreadhiswriting.Thoughit’splaintome.’

           ‘Yourmother?’
