           TheywerebythistimeinthestreetwhereMr.Bounderby’shousestood.ThewaytoSissy’sdestinationledthempastthedoor,andtheyweregoingstraighttowardsit.SometrainhadnewlyarrivedinCoketown,whichhadputanumberofvehiclesinmotion,andscatteredaconsiderablebustleaboutthetown.SeveralcoacheswererattlingbeforethemandbehindthemastheyapproachedMr.Bounderby’s,andoneofthelatterdrewupwithsuchbrisknessastheywereintheactofpassingthehouse,thattheylookedroundinvoluntarily.ThebrightgaslightoverMr.Bounderby’sstepsshowedthemMrs.Sparsitinthecoach,inanecstasyofexcitement,strugglingtoopenthedoor;Mrs.Sparsitseeingthematthesamemoment,calledtothemtostop.

           ‘It’sacoincidence,’exclaimedMrs.Sparsit,asshewasreleasedbythecoachman.‘It’saProvidence!Comeout,ma’am!’thensaidMrs.
