Ihadnowbroughtmystateoflifetobemucheasierinitselfthanitwasatfirst,andmucheasiertomymind,aswellastomybody. Ifrequentlysatdowntomymeatwiththankfulness,andadmiredthehandofGod’sprovidence,whichhadthusspreadmytableinthewilderness. Ilearnedtolookmoreuponthebrightsideofmycondition,andlessuponthedarkside,andtoconsiderwhatIenjoyed,ratherthanwhatIwanted;andthisgavemesometimessuchsecretcomforts,thatIcannotexpressthem;
