MajorDobbinwasexceedinglypleasedwhen,ashewassuperintendingthearrangementsofJos’snewhouse—whichtheMajorinsistedshouldbeveryhandsomeandcomfortable—thecartarrivedfromBrompton,bringingthetrunksandbandboxesoftheemigrantsfromthatvillage,andwiththemtheoldpiano.
