           ‘Getup!’murmuredSikes,tremblingwithrage,anddrawingthepistolfromhispocket;‘Getup,orI’llstrewyourbrainsuponthegrass.

           ‘Oh!forGod’ssakeletmego!’criedOliver;‘letmerunawayanddieinthefields.
